Self-Sustainable Kauai Eco-Resort: Solar Power

When renovating the Kilauea Lakeside Estate in 2009, we made the decision to make the entire property fully self-sustainable, and one of our ecotourism projects was the installation of these solar panels! Harnessing the power of the sun to power our Kilauea resort promotes ecological sustainability in Kauai and provides our visitors a 'greener' experience with a smaller carbon footprint. We are excited to have this up and running!
